Hello John, I'm so glad that you are doing the Caravan. Many of us back here in Mission Viejo are with you in spirit. Thank you for what you are doing not just for the gay and lesbian community, but for cause of human dignity and worth. Keep up the good work! Truly and Sincerely, Christine

Terry

Dear Reverend John,

Though I only met you at my first service on 10/03, I feel a connection - since you were willing to go on this caravan for a person like me - Thank you! The log from Wyoming made me misty-eyed. Have a safe ride, Terry

Dear John,

I write to you today on behalf of your colleagues in the Pacific Central District, who finished our fall retreat yesterday amidst majestic redwood trees in Northern California.

We wanted to send along to you and to Helen our gratitude for your public witness, and to let you know that you are all in our hearts as you make this trip. We are so proud to have this ministry happening!

With gratitude,
Pacific Central District Chapter of the Unitarian Universalist Minister's Association

As a member of Neighborhood UU Church in Pasadena I applaud you and those others who are traveling with you to bring awareness to people in those states you'll pass through that being gay or lesbian or transgendered is no different than being born with blue or brown eyes. These wonderful individuals deserve our support and every effort we can provide them with the same legal rights as straight couples. Thank you and may your trip be safe.
